To ensure the quality of honeysuckle, flower growers now often use honeysuckle drying room for drying. The specific honeysuckle drying process involves the following steps:
High-Temperature Withering Stage
Spread the harvested honeysuckle evenly on a tray. Use a sprayer to spray a small amount of water. Then, place the flowers on a cart and transport them to the drying room. Set the temperature to 65-70°C. Once the temperature stabilizes, maintain it for 1.5-2 hours to complete the Withering Stage. This stage is crucial in the honeysuckle drying process and determines the color of the finished dried product.
Initial Drying Stage
Set the initial drying temperature at 40°C. After 2-3 hours, activate the dehumidification mode and continue drying for another 2-3 hours.
Medium-Low-Temperature Drying Stage
Set the temperature at 40-50°C for 3-4 hours. This drying stage ensures a consistent moisture content for the majority of the honeysuckle. Dehumidification can be adjusted as needed during the drying process.
High-temperature drying stage
Set the temperature to 55°C for 2 hours. Reduce moisture removal during drying to maintain a constant temperature.
Intensive drying stage
Set the temperature to 60-65°C, not exceeding 70°C, for 1 hour. Observe the quality and color of the honeysuckle at all times. Once everything is complete, shut down and allow to cool.
